Alan Holtz
Program Assistant

Alan joined the UCF Team in January 2011 as a Program Assistant for FYE. Prior to coming to UCF, he served 20 years in the U.S. Navy in the Human Resources field, and then worked in a customer service and office support position at a large travel agency. Alan has lived in Orlando for over 20 years and enjoys travel and spending time with his wife and family.

Anna-Bradley Lozier

Anna-Bradley joined the FYE office in August 2016. A Florida native, Anna-Bradley left her hometown of Pensacola, FL to join the UCF community in 2007 as a freshman student. Prior to working with FYE, Anna-Bradley spent 6 years working in Housing and Residence Life. She earned both her bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal/Organizational Communications and her Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from UCF and is currently working on her doctorate in Educational Leadership with plans to graduate in December of 2018. In her free time, Anna-Bradley enjoys surfing, cooking, traveling, spending time with friends, and going to the dog park with her dog Chewbacca!

Elizabeth joined the FYE office as the Orientation Coordinator in December 2014. Originally from Wilmington, NC, Elizabeth received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and Master’s degree from the University of Georgia. Prior to her arrival to UCF, Elizabeth worked at California Lutheran University as the Coordinator for Student Involvement and Wellness. Elizabeth enjoys exploring new places, trying unique restaurants, watching all different sports, and spending time with her friends.

Dr. Johnson joined the FYE team in July 2015 as Academic Coordinator for the Strategies for Student Success (SLS 1501) program at UCF. Originally from Chicago, IL, Dr. Johnson earned his Ph.D in May 2015 from the University of Illinois in Educational Policy Studies (EPS). His research interests include Access and Participation in Higher Education Programs (undergraduate and graduate study) for underrepresented students (with a specific focus on African American males). Dr. Johnson has over ten years of experience in the context of the First-Year Experience including: coordinator of first-year seminars, academic advising, and campus wide diversity initiatives at the University of Illinois. In his new role, Dr. Johnson looks forward to strengthening the pathways of first-year students toward career placement and entrée into graduate/professional schools. In his spare time, Dr. Johnson enjoys traveling, theme parks, and cooking.

Paige joined the office in December 2014 as Associate Director after having previously worked at the University of Tennessee and Georgia Southern University with programming for new students and families. Originally from Virginia, she loves cats, the beach, and spending time with her family. In her spare time, Paige enjoys knitting, cooking, and traveling.

Sarah joined First Year Experience in May of 2017. Originally from Norfolk, Virginia she received her Bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University in 2013. Before beginning graduate school, Sarah worked in the corporate sector for two years. She is a proud UCF alum, having received her Master’s degree in 2017. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys relaxing at the beach, kayaking, going to movies, and attending concerts.
