Did you know that 80% of college students change their major at least once, according to the National Center for Education Statistics? The Knights Major Exploration and Transition Center and Career Services are teaming up to present MAJOR EXPLORATION WEEK: STRANGER THAN MAJOR THINGS to help major and career exploring students find their ideal path.
Major Exploration Week events will be held Monday, October 30 through Friday, October 7, and is not to be missed! All students will be able to find something useful during Major Exploration Week. Whether they feel confident in their current major or have more exploring to do, there is something for everyone to enrich their academic experience at UCF.
The week-long event will begin with a Kick-off Resource Fair on Monday, October 3 from 11:00am-1:00pm in the Student Union Pegasus Ballroom. Colleges, departments, and academic student organizations will share information about their programs and opportunities at UCF. The remainder of the week will showcase panels, workshops, drop-in hours, Major Exploration Week scholarships, and more. Keep an eye on Handshake as the date approaches for more details.
