Healthy Knights Tour

Family members and students, come learn about programs and services offered to help students be healthy Knights! Stops on the tour include the Recreation & Wellness Center (RWC), Wellness & Health Promotion Services (WHPS), Student Health Services (SHS), and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). More details below.

1:00 p.m. & 1:30 p.m. - Recreation & Wellness Center Tours
Recreation & Wellness Center, Room 111
This 30-minute tour provides information on options for students to reach their recreational and healthy lifestyle goals.

2:00-3:00 p.m. - Wellness and Health Promotion Services Open House
Recreation & Wellness Center, Room 111
WHPS's open house will feature information about services focused on stress management, nutrition, sexual wellness, and wellness coaching.

3:00 p.m. & 3:30 p.m. - Student Health Services Tours
Meet at the 1st floor Appointments Counter, Student Health Center Bldg.
Tour our facility and learn about all the comprehensive medical services we offer to help students achieve optimum health. We are way more than just doctors!

4:00, 4:15, 4:30, and 4:45 p.m. - Counseling and Psychological Services Tours
Counseling & Psychological Services Bldg.
Stop by CAPS and meet one of our clinicians who will take you on a brief tour of the center and explain services offered. Q&A available.

Our services assist in your student's career development, starting with picking a major to finding employment. We will give you an overview of all the services our office has to offer, as well as information from our First Destination Data. At the end, we will give you a tour of our state of the art facilities.

Friday Knight Welcome

The official welcome event for Family Weekend. Located in the Student Union, registration and check-in will take place here. Come enjoy food, fun, and a showcase of UCF!

  • 5:00-9:00 p.m., Check-in, Student Union Atrium

  • 5:30-7:30 p.m., BBQ Dinner, Pegasus Ballroom

  • 6:30 & 7:30 p.m., Campus Tours, depart from outside of Pegasus Ballroom

  • 6:30 p.m. & 8:00 p.m., SAK Comedy Show, Key West Ballroom (218)

BBQ Dinner will be catered by 4Rivers Smokehouse. Menu includes choice of meat (pulled chicken or burnt ends), sides (southern green beans and macaroni & cheese), drink, and dessert (cookies). Vegetarian option available upon request (veggie skewers) - make sure to provide this information on the Family Weekend Registration website.

Mishpacha Shabbat Celebration

Shabbat Shalom! Experience all that Central Florida Hilell has to offer first-hand by participating in a student-led Shabbat celebration. The evening will feature Shabbat services led by a UCF student, a home-style kosher meal, and dessert in the student lounge. Central Florida Hillel is the center for Jewish student life at UCF.

Outdoor Movie: Grease

Relax with your family and enjoy a showing of the movie Grease. Bring something to sit on! (Location: Front of CFE Arena; Rain Location: Student Union, Cape Florida Ballroom, 316)

Late Knights

Grab your family and come to Late Knights! This event will feature games, entertainment, and prizes for people of all ages. This is one of the many UCF traditions that you do not want to miss. Show your family what it means to charge on! You bring a friend, we will bring the fun.

LEAD Scholars Family Weekend Celebration

Family and friends of LEAD scholars are welcomed to attend our Family Weekend celebration in honor and recognition of you and your student. Come and enjoy some delicious food, games, and an overall good time as you get to meet our staff and other families connected to the program. You are sure to have a great time!

Office of Student Involvement Jazz Breakfast

Additional cost: $20/person (paid at time of Family Weekend registration)

Join the Office of Student Involvement for an enjoyable and relaxing Jazz Breakfast. What better way to kick start your Family Weekend Saturday morning than with a cool jazz breakfast experience. We will see you there!

MASS Open House

Come meet the MASS staff during their open house. You are invited to learn more about what the Multicultural Academic and Support Services office does on campus and how it helps students be successful. Light refreshments will be served.

You Can Do It: Planning for a Study Abroad Experience

This session will cover international opportunities available to UCF students and strategies with which families can plan ahead to make study abroad a reality.

Housing Spirit Stop

Join UCF Housing staff for a casual event before the football game! Take a tour of the facility and enjoy free food. Spirit items will be provided! (Location: Front of CFE Arena; Rain Location: CFE Arena Lobby)

Marching Knights Pregame

The Marching Knights provide the ultimate soundtrack to any tailgate.

2 HOURS BEFORE KICKOFF - Marching Knights warm up and mini-concert outside of the front of the Student Union.

1.5 HOURS BEFORE KICKOFF - The band marches down Memory Mall and stops to play school songs in front of the CFE Arena.

1 HOUR BEFORE KICKOFF - The March to Victory begins, with Knightro, Pegasus, the Spirit Squad and the Marching Knights leading cheering fans to the game.

20 MINUTES BEFORE KICKOFF - The band takes the field at the Spectrum Stadium to get the crowd pumped and perform its pregame show.

UCF Football Game - Memphis vs. UCF

Let's cheer on our Knights as they face the Memphis Tigers. Go Knights and Charge On! Information on purchasing tickets is included in the Family Weekend event registration email.

Family Day at the Lake

Families are welcome at the William E. and Mary Jo Davis Recreation Area at Lake Claire to participate in a variety of activities including beach volleyball, soccer, corn hole, kayaking, and more! Join us for Yoga on the Beach at 9:00 a.m and Stand Up Paddle Board lessons from 10:00-11:00 a.m. (offered in 15 minute increments). Water activities will be available to UCF students and their family members (18 years of age or older). Must show a government issued ID and sign a waiver.

Family Bagel Brunch

Come join the Central Florida Hillel family for coffee, bagels, lox, schmear, and so much more. Central Florida Hillel is the center for Jewish student life at UCF. Parents and students will have the opportunity to learn about upcoming programs, internships, and chances to experience the world by traveling abroad through Hillel. The goal of Central Florida Hillel is to offer engaging and meaningful programmatic opportunities that connect our students to each other, to their school, and to the greater Jewish community.
