Mental Health and Wellbeing Outreach

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is here to serve students in a variety of ways. Students can access free mental health support through the UCF App, under Wellbeing. TAO (Therapy Assisted Online) is a module based program that includes interactive videos and mood logs. Togetherall is an online peer support forum that is moderated by licensed professionals and trained student peers.

Additionally, CAPS hosts Wellbeing Online Workshops (WOW) on Zoom. Topics include coping, resiliency, social anxiety, motivation, and a variety of others. A list of these drop-in workshops can be found on our website.

CAPS engages students with innovative outreach activities such as building with LEGOS and interacting with therapy dogs. All these activities target five pillars of health and wellbeing to include harm reduction and resilience. CAPS also has a volunteer undergraduate peer educator program so students can educate other students about mental health literacy.

Lastly, CAPS has a 24/7 crisis support line, call 407-823-2811 and press 5. Students are encouraged to call and will be connected to a counselor immediately.
