Yes! While the Family & Guest Orientation program is designed for adult support systems of students, we know sometimes it is hard to find childcare and siblings might need to join. Anyone ages 10 and above will need to pay the Family & Guest Orientation cost, but anyone under the age of 10 is free to join. If you choose to bring a sibling/child who is 10 years or older, please make sure your student adds them to their official Orientation reservation.

UCF’s Family & Guest Orientation is offered for support systems of both first time in college (FTIC) and transfer students. The program for each is centered around providing parents, families, and guests important information about UCF’s processes, policies, and campus resources. You will have time to meet university staff, ask questions, and tackle any “to-do” list items before your student begins classes at UCF.

The separate but simultaneous program will be structured around various presentations and group conversations, all related to setting you and your student up for success as you begin the transition to the UCF family.
