Spring 2023 Resources


It’s time for both new and returning students to get prepared for Spring 2023 semester. Consider this page your “one-stop shop” of resources and details. Click each resource below to expand it and to learn the most crucial information needed to get the new semester started.

UCF’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) office offers individual counseling, group counseling, couples counseling, crisis counseling, various workshops, trainings, and therapies. Counseling services are free to all currently enrolled UCF students.

One of the common concern of supporters of students is making sure their student eats well. UCF has various food options and locations. Different dining plans are designed for both on- and off-campus residents.

UCF highly encourages new students and returning students who are going to drive their own vehicle to campus to purchase parking permit. Student parking is available in any “D” parking lot (color coded as green), and “R/RL/KP” parking lots if they are an on-campus resident. 

 UCF has various shuttle routes. Students can save time and money with free UCF shuttles. To see the detailed shuttle routes and times, visit UCF Parking Services and click the ‘Transportation’ menu option at the top of the page.

UCF’s Recreation and Wellness Center has amazing indoor and outdoor facilities, including aquatics. Students can utilize these resources for free or at minimum cost.

Student Accessibility Services is a great resource for students who may need any academic-related accommodations. They help student receive course accessibility request letters, make exam accommodations, offer ASL interpreting, and more. If you your student might need some help to overcome a learning barrier, encourage them to reach out to SAS.

Student Care Services provides one-on-one support, including guidance, resources, and referrals when UCF students are experiencing significant difficulties related to mental health, physical health, personal and family emergencies, financial issues, or other areas of concern.

UCF Student Health Services offers primary care, immunizations, pharmacy services, dental care, and specialty care. Walk-ins are available, but students are encouraged to make an appointment to avoid any possible wait time. Appointments can be made via phone call at 407-823-2701 or stopping by the Student Health Services. 

If your student is looking for some exciting co-curricular events or involvement, they should visit Office of Student Involvement! There are opportunities to join Registered Student Organizations, apply for leadership positions, build friendships, and develop skills that aid in career development along the way.

  • Community outreach is a good way to get involved with the local community
  • There are various Registered Student Organizations (RSO), where students officially gather based on their personal interest or major.
  • Student Government represents, advocates, and serves the Student Body. If your student is interested in joining student government, there is a way to get involved! Check the Get Involved page to find out more.
