FREE Academic Support For UCF Students

The Student Academic Resource Center (SARC) offers Supplemental Instruction (SI), Peer Tutoring, and Academic Coaching!

  1. Supplemental Instruction (SI)

Supplemental Instruction (SI) provides weekly group study sessions for historically-difficult STEM courses. SI sessions are guided by an SI leader, a peer who has received an A in the course. During SI sessions, students can discuss content and solve problems with other classmates guided by the SI leader. Students can attend SI in person or online.

  1. Peer Tutoring

Group peer tutoring and one-on-one peer tutoring are available for selected STEM and business courses. Group tutoring takes place at Trevor Colbourn Hall (TCH 117), SARC@CECS in the Engineering II Atrium, and SARC@UCF Downtown in the Dr. Philips Academic Commons (DPAC), Room 330. Some sessions are hosted online or are hybrid.

  1. Academic Coaching & Engagement (ACE) Program

The ACE program offers one-on-one academic coaching designed to help students develop academic and life skills such as time management, study skills, goal-setting, and more! Coaching sessions are available at Trevor Colbourn Hall 117 or online. Students will meet with a coach who will help them create an action plan to reach their academic goals for success.
