A message to our students

UCF Student Health Services (SHS) is committed to caring for our patients and meeting the healthcare needs of our Knights in the best and safest way possible.  Please rest assured that we follow CDC guidelines for reducing risk of COVID in the healthcare setting.

Direct In-Person Patient Care

We are available to see students for non-emergent care including Primary Care, GYN services, Injections, Allergies, Dental, Dietitian, Substance Use, Sports Medicine, International Health, and Psychiatry.  Just call 407-823-2701 to make an appointment. Our staff will let you know if in-person services are available for the appointment.

Telehealth appointments available

In our efforts to meet students’ needs while taking their classes remotely, we are pleased to continue to offer telehealth services.  It’s a simple, personal, secure, and convenient way to meet with your SHS providers whom you can trust with your care no matter where you are.

Pharmacy Services

Our Pharmacy is open, offering convenient pickup and delivery options for prescription medications. Simply call our pharmacy to order your prescriptions or complete the online form for prescription refills.  Our pharmacy has a mail order option for select medications.  Call and talk to the Pharmacists for your best options.  407-823-1608 or visit https://studenthealth.ucf.edu/services/pharmacy/.

What to know before your appointment visit:

Please help us protect all our patients and staff by following these guidelines when you visit the health center:

  • Please do not bring a visitor with you to your appointment. Visitors may be permitted for extreme exceptions only and must be pre-approved before arriving.
  • All patients will be screened for signs and symptoms of COVID -19 and have their temperature checked prior to entering the facility. You will also be asked to demonstrate hand sanitization. We appreciate your patience as this may cause delays in entering the health center.
  • You will be expected to wear a face covering / mask while in our facility. If you do not have one, one may be provided to you at a nominal fee.
  • Please wash your hands frequently and practice good hand hygiene.

What we’re doing to protect you:

Caring for you means doing our part to keep you safe during your visit to the Health Center.

  • We’re conducting pre-screenings and in-office screenings for all patients, visitors, and staff, including daily temperature checks of everyone entering the building.
  • All patients and staff are expected to wear face covering/ mask.
  • We’re following strict processes to sanitize our facility regularly.

We look forward to having our Knights back on campus.  In the meantime, we are here to keep you healthy and safe.

Thank you for entrusting us with your care.  Please call 407-823-2701 with any questions or to schedule an appointment.

Sincerely,

Your Student Health Center
