A withdrawal is an option for students to remove themselves from a course after the add/drop period ends. A withdrawal from a course should be a consideration if a student is not achieving solid “C” work by the withdrawal deadline. When a student withdraws from a course, a “W” will appear on their transcript but it will not impact their GPA. The student will not receive a course refund. Before a student withdraws from a course, they are encouraged to speak to their academic advisor and the Office of Student Financial Assistance (407-823-2827) to discuss their options including implications that may affect their financial aid.
