Family Weekend FAQs

Registration for 2018 Family Weekend will open in the summer. Once it opens, you can  click on “Registration” in the navigation bar on the right side of this page, then click on “Register Now.”

When registering online, yes, you will receive a confirmation email immediately after completing your reservation. Everyone will then receive two more detailed emails about the weekend starting 2 weeks out. The e-mail sent in early September will include a parking pass you will want to print and bring with you.

In 2017, the cost was $27 per person (ages 5 & up), plus $1.76 in sales tax and a $2.43 processing fee. The cost for 2018 has yet to be determined.

Yes, and UCF students must be registered for Family Weekend in order to receive giveaways and access to select Friday Knight Welcome events.

Yes. Saturday’s Jazz Breakfast requires an additional ticket. The 2017 cost was $20 per person (ages 5 & up), plus $1.30 in sales tax and a $2.06 processing fee. If you would like to attend the football game, tickets are sold separately through UCF Athletics.

Football ticket purchase information for 2018 Family Weekend is not available at this time. As soon as it is, we will update the FAQ.

Your football tickets will have assigned seats. Your student does not need a football ticket to enter the game (they use their student ID), however if you would like to guarantee you can sit together, a ticket would need to be purchased for your student to give them an assigned seat with you.

Click on “Schedule of Events” in the navigation bar on the right side of the page. The Schedule of Events will be updated as events are added to the calendar.

If you are arriving on Friday, you can check-in at the Student Union between 5:00-9:00 p.m. If arriving on Saturday, check-in will be from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the Student Union. This is when you will receive your official Family Weekend schedule, giveaways, and t-shirts.

In early September, you’ll receive an e-mail with a parking permit that will allow you to park in Parking Garage A on Friday. On Saturday, you should park in Garage A or I – both of these are free on game days.

*Refunds will not be issued after the September registration deadline. For a refund, log back into the registration system and request a refund. Or you can email with the name of the primary registrant (purchaser). All monies will be refunded.
