Family Weekend FAQs


Click on “Registration” in the navigation bar on the right side of this page, then click on “Register Now” at the bottom of the page.

When registering online, yes, you will receive a confirmation email immediately after completing your reservation. Everyone will then receive two more detailed emails about the weekend starting 2 weeks out. The e-mail sent in early September will include a parking pass you will want to print and bring with you.

$27 per person (ages 5 and up), plus $1.76 in sales tax.

Yes, and UCF students must be registered for Family Weekend in order to receive giveaways and access to select Friday Knight Welcome events.

Yes. Saturday’s Tailgate requires an additional ticket. The cost is $25 per person (regardless of age), plus $1.63 in sales tax. If you would like to attend the football game, tickets are sold separately through UCF Athletics.

After registering for Family Weekend, you will receive a special link and promo code to purchase football tickets through UCF Athletics. This link will ensure that you purchase tickets in the Family Weekend section.

Your football tickets will have assigned seats. Your student does not need a football ticket to enter the game (they use their student ID), however if you would like to guarantee you can sit together, a ticket would need to be purchased for your student to give them an assigned seat with you.

Click on “Schedule of Events” in the navigation bar on the right side of the page. The Schedule of Events will be updated as events are added to the calendar.

Check-in will occur on Friday night at the Student Union between 5:00-9:00 p.m. This is when you will receive your official Family Weekend schedule, giveaways, and t-shirts. If you are unable to check in on Friday night, you may send your student to check in for you during that time.

In early September, you’ll receive an e-mail with a parking permit that will allow you to park in Parking Garage A on Friday. On Saturday, you should park in Garage A or I – both of these are free on game days.
